Special features of the Cherubini 44 Mark II

 

As good as our boats have always been, we always strive to make them better. Here are the improvements in the new Cherubini 44.

Molded fiberglass/structural foam core deck, cabin sides, cabin top, and bulwarks.
    Stronger and more durable.

All vinyl ester resin hull and deck layups.
     Stronger.
     Lighter.
     More durable, eliminates potential problems with blisters.

Higher (slightly) bulwarks
     Better footing for deck work.
     Saltier appearance.

Higher (slightly) cabin top
     More headroom.
     Airier feeling.

Fiberglass molded head compartment
     Easier to clean.
     More durable.

Revised configuration of bilge space
     Facilitates removal of tanks for long-term servicing.
     Easier to keep bilges clean.
     Simplifies removal of bilge water.

The most important new feature

The first fiberglass deck has been laid up, with its structural foam core. It still is sitting in the mold.

Now the deck has been extracted from the mold and just turned right-side-up.
