Looking down the companionway, to port is a sliding pocket door into a large master stateroom.
To starboard are foul weather gear lockers and the nav station.
We'll go into the master stateroom first. |
The cabin has a large double bed, extending aft, under the cockpit.
There are many lockers and shelves. |
In front of the bed is chest of drawers (topped by a mirror).
The aft cabin has its own private head, behind this mirrored door. |
| On the outside, near the head of the bed, is a hanging locker. |
| The master head includes a toilet (with holding tank), shower, and sink. |
| |
| Coming down the companionway, on the starboard side are lockers for foul weather and other deck gear. |
| Further forward to starboard is the navigation station. |
The galley is to port, and is complete.
| To starboard, on the other side of the passageway, is a secondary freezer, microwave, stereo system, and large electrical panel. |
Victoria has a classic, commodious main cabin, with large settees (around 8 feet) and stowage space above and behind.
Through the raised panel bulkhead, the door to the head and forward cabin is visible. |
Ahead of the main cabin is a full width compartment, including head and folding sink to starboard and shower amidships.
On the front bulkhead of the head is a ladder (visible in the mirror on the vanity above the sink) to a hatch on the cabin top, providing the required second exit for the cabin. (This means that the foredeck does not have a hatch.)
| To port, there is also a large bureau, so the area also serves as a dressing room. |
| A nicely finished forepeak, with two berths, is in front of this head/dressing room area. |
