She has a bow thruster to help maneuvering around marinas.
She has a Sheel keel, that improves the efficiency of the keel. She is a a shoal draft boat with good windward performance.
Her propeller is mounted off-center, to starboard. It is a MaxProp feathering propeller, to minimize drag and free wheeling under sail.

Her deck configuration is characteristic of the Cherubini 44s.
Note that there is a companionway from the cabin top directly to the main cabin. This provides more privacy to the aft cabin.

The aft cabin has a double width quarter berth to starboard. It is very wide.
The berth is wide, down to the aft end.
The navigation area is adjacent to the starboard double bunk, on the engine cover. It includes radar display.
A folding seat is in this area. |
On the port side of the aft cabin are "his and her" hanging lockers and a chest of drawers. |
Coming forward, the head is to starboard.
The head has two doors, so it can be entered either from the aft cabin or from the main cabin.
A third door can separate the aft from the main cabin.

The complete, U-shaped galley is to port. It includes double, deep sinks, gimbaled LPG gas stove, refrigerator and freezer.
Cabinets are above the sink. |
| Opposite the galley are a set of drawers and a locker, under the supplementary companionway. These provide valuable storage areas for the galley. |
On the outboard side of these drawers, there is a unique stowage area for bottles. A special rack above the locker holds stemware.
| The main salon (port side) is just forward of the galley. |
The port settee can extend inward, to create a double berth. Lockers behind the back rest are very large and can hold lots of bedding, clothing, food, supplies, etc.
The cabin heater on the bulkhead burns solid fuel (coal, charcoal).
The starboard side is similar to the port side (but doesn't extend), with ample shelves and lockers. In addition, there are more lockers near the companionway coming down from the coach roof.
The shelves above the settees are too narrow to serve as pilot berths for adults. Maybe small children could use them. |
| The forward cabin features two vee berths can can be joined into a double bed. There are drawers and hanging lockers on both sides. The starboard side cabinets are visible here. |
The chest of drawers on the port side (as well as the hanging locker just aft of this photo) provide the occupants of the forward cabin very ample locker space. There is also lots of floor space in this cabin.
| Throughout the interior, she has a proper, teak and holly floor, made of real teak boards, not veneer. |
